About me
Diego Quinter, lic. iur. Attorney-at-Law.
Since 1995 I have advised and represented companies, private individuals, municipalities and associations in Graubünden and German-speaking Switzerland. My work combines three perspectives: that of the lawyer who builds contracts and conducts litigation, that of the board member who knows companies from the inside, and that of the commission president who decides on the value of land and rights.
I handle mandates in German, Italian, French, Portuguese and English.

1993
Start of legal career
Start of my legal career as an associate in a law firm and, in parallel, as an ad hoc court clerk, in preparation for admission to the bar.
1995
Bar admission and registration in the bar register of the canton of Graubünden
Admitted as an attorney-at-law since 12 January 1995. Continuously active in advisory work and litigation ever since.
1995 to 2022
Law office in Chur
Establishment and management of my own practice in the cantonal capital. Mandates for companies, public authorities and private individuals from all over Switzerland and neighbouring countries.

President of the Federal Assessment Commission, District 12
Chairing the valuation commission that decides on compensation in expropriation cases, for example for national roads, railway and energy projects in District 12. First-hand experience in valuing land and rights.

Board of directors mandates
Member of the board of directors in companies in the real estate sector and the manufacturing industry. Responsibility for strategy, finance and succession from the owner's perspective.

Conversion of the practice into a public limited company (CHE-195.377.923).

Law office in Brienz/Brinzauls
Relocation of the office to the Albula valley, around 30 minutes from Chur, 15 minutes from Lenzerheide. Clients in Graubünden and throughout German-speaking Switzerland.

Understandable, direct, with the result in mind.
A legal opinion only helps you if you know what to do afterwards. That is why you receive from me an assessment in plain language, with options, risks and a recommendation.
I will also tell you when litigation is not worth it. Many disputes can be resolved faster and more cheaply through skilful negotiation than in court. But if it has to be, I represent you through all instances.
Memberships: Graubünden Bar Association, Swiss Bar Association (SAV). Registered in the bar register of the canton of Graubünden.
